Guests are arriving at “Mamayeva Sloboda”. At the central entrace they are met by girls dressed in Ukrainian outfit of the 17th-18th centuries. The girls are greeting the guests and are inviting them for the tour over Cossack settlement.
After visiting Cossack church, Ukrainian house and household buildings the guests are coming to the central square. The Ukrainian housewives are cooking legendary Cossack kulish in a caulron in the open fire. The guests are trying the kulish as well as traditional historical liqueurs with herbal tea.
The quest game has started. The participants are moving fast all around the pathes of the Cossack village, showing their knowledge of Ukrainian culture and traditions.
After finding the treasures, the guests are invited to shynok (traditional restaurant) for holiday lunch. There they are having a chance to taste the historical dishes and drinks of the 17th-18th centuries.
By surprise, Cossacks are entering the shynok and inviting everyone to see the Cossack show. During the show Cossacks are not only demonstrating Cossack skills but are also testing the courage and fearlessness of the guests.
Special guests of the day are folk group musicians together with folk group singers. The musicians are playing traditional musical instruments. The girls are studying the guests how to dance historical dances.
After active Cossack pastime the happy guests are returning home.
